Freight costs, airline cargo fees, and packaging expenses are never included in your website's initial order request subtotal. Our logistics team hand-calculates these costs based on the exact weight, box dimensions, and transit lane of your specific shipment, adding them directly to your final invoice.
We ship nationwide using airport-to-airport cargo via major commercial airlines with climate-controlled facilities, as well as dedicated live-freight ground carriers. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for our logistics team to secure cargo routing, verify live stock availability, and issue your finalized invoice.
All fish are packed using professional oxygenation, premium water conditioners, and double-sealed heavy-duty bags inside heavy-walled styrofoam boxes. Depending on seasonal weather patterns at the origin and destination, premium heat packs or ice packs are included at a nominal per-box fee to stabilize water temperatures throughout transit.
We guarantee live arrival on all airport cargo shipments when picked up within 2 hours of flight arrival. In the rare event of losses, clear photos or videos of the deceased fish inside the original, unopened sealed bags must be emailed to orders@a1tropicals.com within 2 hours of shipment arrival. Approved claims will be issued as a credit toward your next wholesale order; freight and packaging costs are non-refundable.
