Every shipment is hand-quoted after packing. Box count, insulation, oxygen and temperature packs are all lane-specific, so they are never guessed at checkout.

- How is freight calculated?
- Freight and packaging are quoted at packing time based on final box count, gauge of insulation, oxygen and heat or cold packs required for your lane.
- Why isn't freight in my order subtotal?
- Freight and packaging costs are not included in the order subtotal and will be added at the time of final invoicing, once actual box count and routing are known.
- When is my order guaranteed?
- Orders are not guaranteed until an official order confirmation and final invoice are received via email from A1 Tropicals.
- Which carriers do you use?
- Airport-to-airport air freight and overnight courier, matched to your lane. Weather holds are called by our shipping desk, never by the carrier alone.
